G4LIFE???

Hey. So the Rihanna for River Island collection dropped on 12 September. Sadly I wasn't too excited by that because her last collection was a bit of a mess. (My opinion). I thought for a high street collection it really didn't relate to the high street consumer. Anyway, I was hoping this new collection would be improved, though I still don't think I'm a G4LIFE. Lol. So I managed to get to River island today...and I left with nothing!!! 

Her collection is suitable for the young rebellious types (very true to who she is right now) and gladly I'm past that stage. I kind of got a modern day Aaliyah from the collection. It's all weirdly nice...just not for me. My favourite piece, that I'm considering buying are these boyfriend jeans, mostly because I love the dark wash denim. They fit quite well too. 

I like the print on this dress. Really cute. But the back slash...not so much. And it's a bit too mini for my liking, but I can see this look great on someone else!! ( if you have a body like Rihanna's!! 😕)

These camo sandals are cute!! Really cute!! I just didn't feel like they were worth the £60 price tag the come with, more so considering all the other killer heels in River Island's current collection. 

This dress/tunic is weird to me. It just isn't making much sense. I really hated the sleeves on it. The leggings though, I LOVE! 

So am I a G4LIFE??? Are you a G4LIFE??? I can't wait to see how people will dress the pieces in this collection up. I just think it sort of fits a certain 'niche' but there are creative fashionistas out there!!!
